Hey babes! It’s been a while, I know, but I haven’t forgotten about you loves! Today is a super special blog post because 1). I’m featuring a NEW brand and 2). the designer is my frieeeeend. Last year Kristine Thompson of Trendy Curvy launched her plus size inclusive brand KIN by Kristine with sizes ranging from 14 to 26. I bought quite a few pieces at launch, but life got crazy and I didn’t have time to give them the spotlight they deserved. Cut to quarantine 2020 and I have all the time in the world now hahaha!
So today I wanted to share the most beautiful set I got from her latest drop! You guys know how rarely I wear bold prints, but when I saw this set something lit up in me and I HAD to have it. From the pictures alone I knew this set would be a banger. Kristine and myself have similar bodies and anything that looks fire on her, I’m confident will look fire on me too. The set is sold separately and the pieces look just as stunning paired with other things, but together they’re pure magic.
I chose the black & white print to start (it comes in emerald & white, which I’ll be getting as well!). Like I said, I rarely wear prints and I’m taking baby steps lol. Right out of the package I could tell immediately these pieces are high quality. The fabric feels durable and the stretch feels expensive (is that a thing?)–like it’s not that thin stretchy fabric that fades if it’s stretched too far. Which leads me into price points– I think I now have 6 or 7 pieces from KIN and being a NEW NEW indie brand I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable and reasonable the prices are. You are getting your money’s worth and then some. The quality is top notch, the fits are to die for and the designs are right on trend! Truly affordable luxury.
In the top I’m wearing a size 2 (16/18)- as you can see the fit is phenomenal, the sleeves are plenty long enough and it tucks into the pants seamlessly. It does button all the way up for those who want some coverage, but it’s 100+ degrees here AND it’s me so you know I had it unbuttoned as far as I could without breaking the law. I’m wearing a size 3 (20/22) in the bottoms and at first I was worried about length because wide leg pants gave never been long enough, but even after putting on heels, these pants were the perfect length. To add some color to the look, I wore red heels and chose a red clutch.
This set is so versatile too! It’s great for the office, the beach, the resort, or an event. Where would you wear it?

Y’all CANNOT sleep on this brand. The pieces are absolutely gorgeous. Kristine is giving the plus size babes what we want.
