I typically tend to stick to black or darker swimsuits, but Aerie had some bright options that I absolutely had to try so I stepped out of my comfort zone in their Striped Trim Longline Bandeau Bikini Top in a size XXL. For those who prefer not to go strapless, it comes with straps that you can attach, which I’ve chosen to do. I matched with their High Waisted Belted Bikini Bottom also in a size XXL. This two-piece comes in other colors, but this teal looked soooo pretty and it’s perfect for a day at beach!

 

Of course after stepping out of my comfort zone, I went right back in it with their Tie Cutout One Piece in black. But I didn’t totally jump in, I merely dipped a toe because this suit has a perfectly placed cutout right in the middle. I say perfectly placed because it could still be pulled up to my waist without anything falling out at the bottom. I’m wearing an XXL, but I have a feeling I could have sized down for this one. Nothing felt out fo place, I just prefer my one piece swimsuits to be a little more snug. This Aerie suit is fun when you may not be ready for a pop of color, but you’re still down to show some skin!
