Spring Fever

Spring has officially sprung! The weather is heating up which means pants are basically becoming obsolete and lighter options are making their way to the front of your closet. I’ve teamed up with Macy’s and Refinery 29 to bring you my two favorite must have dresses that will have you ready for any occasion this Spring!

First up, we have a Spring time classic: the maxi dress. It’s actually an “any time” classic, but this INC International Concepts maxi has all the Spring feels making it the perfect wardrobe addition. The bold print mixed with the off-the-shoulder ruffle and side slits adds just the right amount of fun to the dress while still making it easy to accessorize. The waistband is elastic, but I chose to add gold belt for sparkle and a red clutch for a pop of color. I was also pleasantly surprised that the shoulder didn’t slide up because I feel like anytime I try off-the-shoulder it looks cute as long as I don’t move or breathe. For reference I’m 5’10’  wearing a 2x and this dress hit right at my ankle like it’s supposed to. This dress is perfect for grabbing drinks fromthe besties on Wednesday to a beach front vacation on Saturday. Macy’s has an awesome selection of other dresses for whatever you fancy!

For dress #2 we’re raising the hemline and adding flowers. This A-line INC International Concepts dress embodies three of my favorite things: cold shoulders, long sleeves, and pleats! It’s incredibly lightweight and the floral chiffon fabric hangs perfectly– and comfortably– on my body. I’m wearing a 2x and at first I was worried about arm space since there’s no stretch, but as you can see there’s plenty of room and the cold should gives a nice pop of skin. The thin pleat details are my favorite because they give the dress a fun flouncy vibe. I added a wide belt to play up the pleating towards the bottom and nude heels to make this the perfect Spring date night look!
