Ashley Nell Tipton x JCPenney

Is any one else as excited as I am for the Ashley Nell Tipton capsule collection to launch at JCPenney Boutique+ on Sept 6th?  Boutique+ is a plus-size lifestyle collection created for the fashion conscious millennial shopper. The brand was conceived by a dedicated team of design, trend and product experts whose focus is to ensure the looks of Boutique+™ complement a curvier shape. With no body left behind, sizes will range from: 0x-4x and 16W-30W in stores and online. (Up to 5x is available online).

Ashley’s first collection will launch this Fall and will have a fun 1950s vibe.  The collection includes slash knee jeggings; quilted pencil and box pleat skirts; cropped cape-sleeve blouses; boyfriend tees; and bomber and moto-chiffon jackets represented in a rich color palette of rose tan, indigo, olive and black cherry. Design elements such as lipstick prints, bold horizontal stripes and sequins give the collection a modern twist. My favorite part is that NOTHING is over $80 so it’s affordable on any budget. Sale prices range from $15.99 to $35.99 for graphic tees and pleated skirts, while moto and bomber jackets are $49.99 to $74.99.

It’s so refreshing to see a designer and a brand cater to all body types and all sizes. The world definitely needs more of this and i applaud Ashley for paving the way. I think women everywhere will have even more confidence knowing they’re being positively represented and will have access to fun on-trend fashion.
