Take Me Away

The days are getting longer and the nights are heating up. It’s almost time to pack up those cozy winter coats, heavy boots and round up your besties because Summer is approaching fast which can mean only one thing: Festival Season. Things have already kicked off with Coachella and it’s only going to get better from there. Whether you’re a flower crown girl, a 70’s chic babe, or a “less is more” vixen; music festivals are where we come together to enjoy phenomenal music that takes us away to place where our troubles can’t find us. In the festival spirit I teamed up with Simply Be to bring you a look that’s perfect for your next summer concert.
Being plus size it can sometimes be challenging trying to put together the perfect festival look. I personally had trouble putting this look together mostly because I don’t wear a lot of Boho-ish things. This look is great if you’re just not into wearing shorts, but don’t want to be sweating in pants. These pants are very lightweight and super stretchy. I sized up by accident so I’m wearing a size 24, however a size 20 would have been perfect because of the elastic waistband. The top is the PERFECT concert tank. I chose to knot it in the front to show some belly because I can. And you can too! My favorite accessory is the backpack! Little cross body bags are great, but they always get lost my cleavage. A small backpack lets you carry what you need without adding unnecessary pressure to the girls! I added a head band and some colorful bracelets to give it that extra kick.

Simply Be will be starting a MAJOR summer giveaway next week, be on the look out!

Stay tuned for more summer festival looks on the blog! If you could go to any music festival, which one would you pick?

Love my hair? It’s clip in extensions from Glam Seamless! They’re 24in making them perfect for adding extra length so for a fun summer braid or long curly tresses. They weigh 170g and since my hair is so thick I can’t wear them straight, there just wasn’t enough hair and it didn’t look natural. However if I curl them or add waves they’re much easier to blend. Like I do with all my extensions, I did cut them to add long layers to make blending easier as well. If you’re wanting to add length these extensions are perfect. You can purchase them at GlamSeamless.com
