Black and Blue ft. Cori Coren

When I think of Fall fashion the first thing that comes to mind is over-sized sweaters, boots, leather, hoodies…It wasn’t until recently that I started thinking of maxi dresses. Maxi dresses aren’t just for Summer, you can incorporate them into your Fall wardrobe as well. For me I like to pick darker colors, high neck lines and I prefer them to be at least a 3/4 sleeve length. On my hunt for the perfect Fall maxi I came across this beautiful Black and Blue geo print dress from Cori Coren. I was instantly in love!

The fabric is amazing quality. It’s stretchy, thick and thin all at the same time. By that I mean it’s thick enough so nothing shows through when you wear it, but it’s not a thick heavy material. I’m a size 22, but I got the dress in a size 20 and it fit perfectly.The length is everything. I’m 5’10” and the hem hit just above my toes. The print is extremely flattering and not distracting. Oh, and…IT. HAS. POCKETS. A maxi dress with pockets?!?! Does it get any better than that? I’m thinking no. This dress can easily go from casual to holiday party or to an event. The body of the dress is full like a gown unlike a lot of other maxis that have a a very straight cut, this one makes you want to sashay across every room like a princess.

I wanted to keep this look very classy and simple to I used only gold jewelry and black wedges. Enjoy!
