Greetings! It’s been a while! So I wanted to save this look for Friday because to me it’s a very feminine dress in the way it’s cut and it’s different from my usual body con dresses. It’s the perfect date night dress that makes me feel sexy and dainty. I think there’s a difference between grabbing food with your lover and putting in a some extra effort to get dressed up and make the night a little more special. This look isn’t super fancy, but it’s more polished than my usual style. I don’t know about you guys, but getting ready for a date with your man/woman whether it’s a first or your 100th is always more fun because you can pull out all the stops
I borrowed the dress from my blogger babe Boardroom Blonde(thanks girl!), so here is a similar one. Being a skater dress it’s extremely flattering since the tightest part of the dress is on the leanest part of my body, leaving the flare to fall beautifully on the rest of my body. I wanted my look to be girly, but not too girly so I paired the dress with my Forever 21 vest to give it a sleek sophisticated vibe. The vest is currently sold out, but here is a similar one. And yes I know, my whole ensemble is black and white (classic me), but the pattern of the dress definitely gives it life and my Coral purse adds a pop of color.
