Little Black Freakum Dress

The key to the prefect LBD is the flawless collaboration of simplicity and sexy. So today that’s we are talking about, more specifically my new favorite Little Black Freakum Dress. I recently scooped up this little number from G Stage for $24.99 and I couldn’t be more happy with it! Keep in mind ‘freakum’ doesn’t have to mean a lot of skin and a little dress. In this case it means a jumbo boost of confidence in .02 seconds. I don’t even know where to begin! The material is soft and stretchy, the length is fantastic, the zipper on the side gives the illusion of a wrap dress(the curvy girl’s best friend), and bonus points: it’s ¾ sleeve! Not to mention the modest plunge neck adds even more sexiness! This is hands down the most comfortable dress I own.

It is a triple threat: Simple, sexy, and confident.

I think every girl, no matter what size you are, needs a Little Black Dress. It is a staple in every wardrobe because of its versatility, and who doesn’t love feel sexy and powerful? I can wear this dress to work(with a bandeau underneath), on a date, to the club. Anywhere. Today I actually wore it to work with black flats and my duster cardigan I talked about in my first post. In this post I paired it with my favorite Torrid wedges and a pop of color with my Coach purse. I kept the accessories simple so as not to take away from the main focal point: the zipper. Luckily, if anyone tries to get handsy, the zipper doesn’t reveal skin when unzipped, just more dress. So if you’re in the market for a sexy versatile black dress, consider this my letter of recommendation.
